From where I was born and raised, waters filled the depths of my gaze, and so my memory lives in a constant dive.
Série 3, New York for a few hours.
I missed a flight back to Brazil and had to spend the day waiting in New York, so I walked non-stop with my camera in hand until I couldn't anymore and headed back to the airport.

Melvin Quaresma is a Brazilian visual artist whose personal work moves between intimate projects — including stories from his own family, circuses, and other themes — and street photography, which he sees as a space to improve technique, develop composition, and, most importantly, engage with others and the distinct narratives of their daily lives.
